Rates & Policies

Our rates vary according to the type of retreat/event you have in mind.  Most everything is included below.  If you have questions, please feel free to ask.  We try very hard to make everyone’s stay here a pleasant one and accommodate special needs where we can.  Valley Ranch Retreat & Event Center is a Non-Smoking facility inside.  We do have designated smoking areas outside for our guests that smoke.  Additionally, while we love and adore animals of all kinds, we ask that you leave your fur babies at home.

VRR Sponsored:

“Piece in the Valley” retreats are booked on a first come first served basis.  These seats are sold and paid for INDIVIDUALLY and complete payment is due at the time of booking.  Maximum of 30 participants.

Prices will vary according to the length of the event and the Teacher scheduled for the event.  The average price is $395.00 per person (plus tax) with 3:00 PM checkin on Thursday afternoon and 12:00 PM checkout on Sunday.  This price includes accommodations,  all meals and the Teacher’s fee.  Additional fees may be required (kits, patterns, books, etc.)  Please check the calendar page for more information regarding rates and additional fees for a specific retreat.

Registration is due in full 30 days prior to any event.  No refunds will be issued after that date.  Any cancellation after 90 days prior will result is a $75.00 processing fee. Once seats are filled we will take your name and information to be placed on a waiting list.  These events usually sell out quickly so don’t delay in booking your reservation.

We do NOT assign sewing stations for these retreats!  However, because the space is booked on an individual basis, we do assign beds.  If you are attending with a friend we recommend that you book the reservation under one name so that you will be able to room together.  We do our best but there are no guarantees that we will be able to accommodate all of these requests.

Linens are furnished and although we provide pillows you may prefer to bring your own.  Additionally, if you are cold in nature you might want to bring an extra cover as well.

Group Sponsored:

We are delighted to host your guild or group for a retreat. We require a minimum of 12 if we are providing meals for the group. Otherwise we can accept smaller groups. Our maximum capacity is 30 participants. We require a minimum three night stay for any group.

Rates will be determined according to the size of your group, length of stay and whether or not we are providing the meals.  Our fully equipped kitchen is available for groups to prepare their own meals.

We ask that one person be in charge of reservations and requirements for your group.  We require a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit to reserve your date with the remaining balance being due 30 days prior to your event date.  Once the reservation is secured, your group is responsible for full payment for the number of people on the reservation.

Linens are furnished and although we provide pillows you may prefer to bring your own. Additionally, if you are cold in nature you might want to bring an extra cover as well.

Special Occasions:

VRR is available for virtually any type of special occasion.  Rates vary depending on the need of your group but we have listed a few of them below.  Please contact us for further information or inquiries regarding the rental of the Event Center.

Weddings/Receptions with full use of kitchen and no overnight stay:
$2500.00 (Plus Tax)

Weddings/Receptions without full use of kitchen and no overnight stay:  $2250.00 (plus tax)

Weddings/Receptions with overnight stay (minimum 12 guests) with full use of kitchen:
$2500.00 and $85.00 per person, per night (plus tax) – does not include meals.

We require a $1500.00 nonrefundable  deposit to reserve your date,  with the remaining balance being due 30 days prior to your scheduled event.  Additionally, we require a $500.00 cleaning deposit.  Most guests like to take care of this themselves.  If the facility is cleaned appropriately after your event the deposit will be refunded to you.

You may cook or bring in your own food, flowers, cake, beverages, entertainment, etc., for your event.  However, we can help you with some of these services should you require them.
